We are delighted to express our sincere appreciation for the last news coming from Alba Rosa Viëtor Foundation. Sílvia Lanao has won the First prize in the biannual Composition Contest, which was celebrated in Concertgebouw the latest Sunday, the 2nd of December. The piece ”Empordà” was cited for its complexity and well-conceived structure, homaging Shostakovich and Josep Maria de Segarra in an intimate musical piece. Furthermore, the awarded piece was splendrous interpreted by Amatis Piano Trio and the soprano Katharine Dain.
